1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SaleFast ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SaleFast is a product directory platform where makers can showcase their products, tools, and services to a community of users. Users can discover, upvote, and engage with products.

The Service includes:

• Product submission and listing
• Product discovery and search
• User profiles and maker pages
• Premium features for enhanced visibility
• Launch scheduling and calendar

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Register using a valid Google or GitHub account
• Provide accurate and complete profile information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Content

When you submit a product or content to our Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the rights to use and share the content
• The content does not infringe on any third-party rights
• The content is accurate and not misleading
• The content complies with all applicable laws

You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to display and distribute it on our platform.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Submit spam, fake products, or misleading content
• Manipulate upvotes or engage in vote fraud
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Submit products that promote illegal activities

6. Premium Features and Billing

Premium Submissions: Enhanced product listings with additional features are available for a fee.

Payment: All payments are processed securely through Polar. We do not store your payment information.

Refunds: Premium feature purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion.

7. Badge Verified Products

Badge Verified is a free tier that allows users to create a product page by displaying our badge on their website homepage.

Requirements:

• The SaleFast badge must remain visible on your website's homepage
• The badge must link back to your product page on SaleFast
• Sales must be scheduled at least 14 days in advance

Features Included:

• Product page (active while badge is displayed)
• Unlimited free sales
• Dofollow backlink to your website

Limitations (not included):

• No featured sale placements (available with Premium only)
• No customer review system (available with Premium only)
• Manual approval process (1-2 business days)

Important: If the badge is removed from your homepage, your product page will be deactivated. We periodically verify badge placement. You can restore your product page by re-adding the badge.

8. Product Guidelines

Products submitted to SaleFast must:

• Be functional and accessible
• Have accurate descriptions and screenshots
• Not be duplicates of existing listings
• Not contain malware or harmful code
• Comply with our content guidelines

We reserve the right to remove or reject products that violate these guidelines.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SaleFast and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the products and content you submit. We only use this content to operate and promote the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues or bugs
• Third-party service outages
• Force majeure events

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALEFAST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium features in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
• Your product listings may be removed
• You can request your data before termination

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by:

• Posting the new Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending you an email notification for material changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where SaleFast is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
